Dr. Nandini Gupta – The founder and Director of Cultural Synthesis Ireland
Nandini Gupta was born in Haryana India. She is a PhD candidate at The Irish School of Ecumenics at Trinity College Dublin. She did MPhil in Gender studies from Trinity College Dublin. She studied Master of Arts in English and Cultural Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Punjab University, Chandigarh, India. She is an Andrew Grene Scholar supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She was a Research Assistant in the EU-funded project H2020 “Pericles” and currently working with another European project “PAVE”. She is very much interested in promoting community mindfulness workshops and her research outcome brings out the waves of sustainable change and practices of inclusion in society.


Khurram Iqbal – The founder and Director of Cultural Synthesis Ireland
Khurram Iqbal was born in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Pakistan-administrated Kashmir). He studied Bachelor of Arts in Economics and holds a Certificate degree in Asylum and Immigration Law from the School of Law, Irish Law Society in Dublin, Ireland. He is a member of the United Kashmir Peace Forum and an active social worker. He is working closely with community peacebuilding and other rights advocacy groups while advocating his voice for the voiceless people to stand out first.


Md Abul Kalam Azad Talukder – The founder and Director of Cultural Synthesis Ireland
Azad Talukder was born in Gazipur, Dhaka Bangladesh. He did a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Bhawal Badre Alam Government College, Gazipur. His interest in History and Islamic Culture led to the understanding of other cultures and their society at large. Throughout his life journey from Entrepreneur to an acclaimed politician he nurtured community integration and understanding. Currently, he is elected councilor and Cathaoirleach of the Metropolitan District of Limerick, Peace Commissioner and former Deputy Mayor of Limerick. He represented the Garda policing committee and held many honorary positions in various organizations. As an intriguing social activist and community development orator who sees society in transition and works towards an enriching government policy to see vibrant economic development and peaceful co-existence of all community people in Ireland.


Vadivel Raj Sundaram – The founder and Director of Cultural Synthesis Ireland
Vadi was born in Tamil Nadu India. He did his MPhil in International Peace Studies from the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin. He graduated in MA Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences India and holds a bachelor’s in electrical & electronics engineering. He worked in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Assam, and Jammu and Kashmir. Currently, he is working as a freelance researcher with a focus on social diversity management, human cultural capabilities in the creative economy, and positive peacebuilding.


Omar Faroque Newton – The founder and secretary of Cultural Synthesis Ireland
Omar Faroque was born in Chittagong Bangladesh. He studied Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brooks University, UK. He holds AAT full membership (MATT) at the Associations of Accounting Technicians in London, UK. Currently, he works for a renowned multinational company as a financial accountant. He is a writer and editor-in-chief of a Bangla newspaper called Bangla Irish Times in Ireland and a Vivid photographer and his photo speaks his inner voice. As a social activist whose voice is always for the marginalized and disadvantaged groups and promoter International Mother Language Day celebration.
